The Apricot & Hazelnut Sour is a delightful twist on the classic whiskey sour. Combining the rich, warm flavors of Tennessee whiskey with the nutty notes of Frangelico, this cocktail is enhanced by the fresh, fruity taste of ripe apricots. It's both refreshing and complex, making it perfect for sipping on warm evenings or impressing guests at a gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1Tennessee Whiskey
  • 2Frangelico
  • 3Apricot
  • 4Simple Syrup

Instructions

    In a shaker, muddle 1 fresh apricot cut into wedges (remove the pit).

    Add 45 ml (1.5 oz) of Tennessee Whiskey, 15 ml (0.5 oz) of Frangelico, 15 ml (0.5 oz) of simple syrup, and 30 ml (1 oz) of fresh lemon juice.

    Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.

    Strain the mixture into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
