The Kiwi Whisky Sour is a refreshing and fruity twist on the classic whisky sour. The earthy notes of Scotch Whisky beautifully balance with the tartness of the kiwi, enhanced by the dry vermouth. The addition of Riesling adds a touch of sweetness and effervescence, creating a delightful cocktail perfect for sipping on a warm day or any special occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1Scotch Whisky
  • 2Dry Vermouth
  • 3Kiwi
  • 4Lemon Juice
  • 5Simple Syrup
  • 6Riesling

Instructions

    Peel and slice the kiwi, then muddle the slices in a shaker to release the juice.

    Add 60 ml (2 oz) of Scotch Whisky, 30 ml (1 oz) of dry vermouth, and 15 ml (0.5 oz) of freshly squeezed lemon juice to the shaker.

    Add 15 ml (0.5 oz) of simple syrup (1:1 ratio of sugar to water) for sweetness.

    Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.

    Strain the mixture into a chilled rocks glass filled with ice.

    Top off with a splash of Riesling and gently stir to combine.
